چکیده
Abstract While loss of RB function is the most common genetic alteration in pediatric embryonal eye tumor retinoblastoma, mutations leading to BCL-6 corepressor (BCOR) are second alteration. BCOR found more aggressive tumors, and associated with metastasis poor prognosis. We investigated effects or overexpression retinoblastoma cells order better understand its functional role, determine if it represents a new therapeutic target these tumors. Six established cell lines were examined, protein was highly expressed WERI-RB1, but absent Y79 two other lines. knock down WERI-RB1 using shRNA caused markedly increased migration proliferation. also knocked out CRSPR, resulting than three-fold size intraocular murine xenografts extensive extraocular extension In terms mechanism, induces IGF2 transcription, an activation IGF1R ERK signaling pathway. contrast, overexpressing no baseline had opposite on IGF2. Targeting IGF2/IGF1R pharmacologically Lincitinib inhibited proliferation BCOR-negative cells. Increased transcription regulated at least part by hyper methylation CCCTC-binding factor (CTCF)-binding regions IGF2/H19 imprinting control region (ICR), suggesting that promotes this site. summary, our studies revealed growth invasion vitro vivo, via modulating potential targets for childhood tumors eye.

Insulin-like growth factor I gene polymorphism associated with growth traits in beluga (Huso huso) fish
The aim of the present study was to detect polymorphism in Insulin like growth factor-I (IGF-I) gene of beluga (Huso huso) fish using PCR-SSCP technique and also investigation of its association with growth traits (condition factor, body length and weight). A total of 150 specimens of beluga were randomly selected and DNA was isolated from caudal fin using modified salting out method. Then two ...

متن کاملInterleukin-driven insulin-like growth factor promotes prostatic inflammatory hyperplasia.
Prostatic inflammation is of considerable importance to urologic research because of its association with benign prostatic hyperplasia and prostate cancer. However, the mechanisms by which inflammation leads to proliferation and growth remain obscure. Here, we show that insulin-like growth factors (IGFs), previously known as critical developmental growth factors during prostate organogenesis, a...
متن کاملInsulin-like Growth Factor Receptors
There are two types of insulin-like growth factor (IGF) receptors. The type I receptor generally binds IGF-I more tightly than IGF-II and also interacts weakly with insulin. The type II receptor prefers IGF-II over IGF-I and does not recognize insulin. The type I receptor is made up of an alpha binding subunit (Mr 130000) and a beta subunit (Mr 95 000) probably organized as a heterotetramer (Oi...
